5 Fun things to do

when you are bored

Have you ever felt so bored that it starts to feel so frustrating?

Dont worry I have been there too. That is why I wanted to share some of the activets i have descoverd when I don’t know what to do with myself.

Due to everything that’s happened these past  few years with stores being closed as well as gyms, restaurants, cinemas basically everywhere is closed at the moment. That’s why I decided I would put together fun activities you can do by yourself in the comfort of your own home.

So without further ado here are 5 activities you can do by yourself.

Create some art

Me personally I have always loved art, I find that it really helps express my emotions.

It feels like therapy to me apart from it is a lot less awkward and less expensive than actually going to therapy.

So go give it a try and don’t worry if your first few sketches aren’t perfect all things take a bit of patience and practice just keep going I believe in you.

Play some Sports

I know this might sound crazy because a lot of sports require teamwork but most professional athletes practice by themselves all the time.

If you enjoy football go score some goals, If you enjoy dancing go dance for awhile it’s great fun and healthy for your body nothing to lose but a lot to gain. 

Go meditate for a bit

Meditation is so relaxing and it could lower your levels of stress and anxiety. 

I never used to meditate when I was in my teens I always thought it never worked for me but after i kept doing it more and more i actually started to feel calmer and alot more productive.

It is actually very common to struggle with focus and keeping your eyes closed for a long period of time so during meditation so don’t stress if you can’t either, Try putting some chill tunes on and take long slow breaths innnnn annnnnnnd outtttt.

Start writing

There are so many things you can write about.

Some of my personal favourite things to write about are positive affirmations, Journaling and my goals, If you are an overthinker like me i recommend you do the same it can really helps clear the mind from stress.

Do some Gardening

Now more than ever is an amazing time to garden as plants take along time to grow.

At the moment I am planting some apple trees, Celery, Salads, Pears the list goes on, It so satisfying watching your little plants grow into big strong healthy foods.
